For Fr Michael Tate of the Sandy Bay Parish, Tasmania, a two month sabbatical leave will see him return to his former university, Worcester College in England.

Fr Michael said “I will be spending most of my time in Oxford staying at the college where I got my theology degree as a young student in the late 1960s.”
During his time in England, Fr Michael will be giving a seminar at the House of Commons on the subject of St Thomas More, Henry VIII and Slobodan Miloševic. The seminar will be chaired by a former Minister of the Foreign Office and attended by about 40 members of the House of Commons.
