There is a unifying theme in this album by James Maher msc, captured, as you would expect, in the title and the cover artwork.

Alongside the folky ballads there are some very upbeat tunes on this album with a gospel / rock feel. Tracks like ‘Spirit of heaven’ and ‘Remember’ jump out of the speakers. ‘Spirit of heaven’ was written in 2008 for World Youth Day pilgrims and is a joyous and energetic gathering song. ‘Remember’ is a driving pop/rock song proclaiming the demands of peace and justice. The gospel theme appears strongly in a song like ‘We will draw water’, while ‘Your heart on earth’ moves between soul and gospel. Some of these songs are tailored for personal reflection and prayer, many are well suited for liturgical and congregational use. As with the Heartvoice album, a second instrumental CD is included, enabling the music to be used in a variety of ways in churches, schools and homes.
